Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SetupBots (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you register for our in-person AI workshop through this page. We keep this simple: we collect what we need to confirm your seat and keep you informed about the event, and nothing more.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile phone number, and (optionally) your business name when you claim a ticket.
• SMS consent: whether you opted in to receive text-message reminders, and the time you opted in.
• Technical data: basic request details such as your IP address and browser type, used only to prevent spam and abuse of the registration form.
• Analytics & advertising: if you arrive from an ad, we may use cookies or pixels from advertising platforms to measure whether our ads worked (see “Advertising” below).

How we use it

• To confirm your free ticket and send you the event details, including the venue address.
• To send you reminders and important updates about the event by email.
• To send you text-message reminders only if you opted in on the form.
• To measure and improve our advertising, and to protect the form from abuse.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS box, you agree to receive event reminders and updates by text at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of registering for the event. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared with anyone for their marketing purposes.

Advertising

We promote this workshop using advertising platforms that may include Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and TikTok. These platforms may set cookies or use pixels to help us understand which ads led to a registration. We do not control how those platforms process data on their own services; their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. This site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those companies.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run the event — for example, our database host (Supabase), our email provider (Resend), and, if you opt in, our text-messaging provider. These providers process the data only on our behalf. We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep your registration details for as long as needed to run the event and for a reasonable period afterward to follow up about future workshops. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop SMS, or unsubscribe from any email using the link in it.
• Email us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
